Alexandra Posen is a multidisciplinary artist, creative consultant, and internationally recognized visionary leader. She is the co-founder of the luxury fashion house Zac Posen, where she served as Creative Director for over a decade, helping shape the brand’s distinctive identity and global reputation for innovation, elegance, and craftsmanship.
Her work bridges art, design, and strategy, informed by a career spanning fashion, performance, theater, opera, visual art, and activism. As a creative consultant, Alexandra advises organizations and cultural leaders on navigating complexity—anticipating emerging trends, clarifying vision, and translating imagination into direction across artistic, human, and commercial domains.


She is also the co-founder of Resistance by Design, a purpose-driven studio creating politically inspired products that amplify progressive movements and center women’s voices. Educated at Brown University and L’École Jacques Lecoq in Paris, Alexandra brings an international perspective and a deeply narrative approach to creative leadership.
Based in Brooklyn, New York, she continues to work across art, consulting, and special collaborations, helping brands and institutions envision what’s next—and build it with meaning.
